The staff at Stone County Abuse Prevention (SCAP) take domestic violence very seriously. They are ready to help victims by providing emergency clothing and shelter, assistance in obtaining restraining orders, Court Advocacy, and so much more.
In the past, Federal grants have provided funding to sustain the operating budget. Unfortunately, in the coming year (October 2021 to September 2022) there have been extreme cuts in Federal funding for domestic abuse shelters.
SCAP needs your help in sustaining this vital part of our community. Many local businesses have donated some of their best items for a raffle. Some of these items include:
–CD’s from the best local musicians
–Housewarming basket with items from Ozark Folk Center artisans
–Hand-forged knife from the Ozark Folk Center Knifesmith
–Wood carving from
Raffle Drawings will take place during the Ozark Granny Chicks fundraising concert 7 pm September 11th. Need not be present to win.
